Home Away from home: Seda Nuvali

Sedal Nuvali is our favorite places to stay when we are in Nuvali, Laguna. We usually book this place when we handle events – road/all-terrain/obstacle runs in the area. It’s also our go to hotel when we need to go away from the city, away from all the light pollution, when we need to watch meteor showers.

I never had a chance to review any of our Seda stays (whether in Seda BGC or Seda Nuvali), so here it is.

Checking In/Out
Always hassle-free and quick check-in. The hotel staff will immediately assist with your luggage when you are ready to go to your room/s. Check-out is also a breeze. No need to wait too long to get everything done.

Room
We usually book a deluxe room for our stay. This may be the smallest room, in area, but fits our family of 3 perfectly. The bed uses soft linens and duvets and plush, fluffy pillows for a comfortable sleep.
The room has a flat smart TV with limited cable channels. It has an executive desk with a media panel (HDMI, USB, and audio-visual connectivity), if you need to bring work. Most of the time, this area is occupied by Gab when he draws. The electrical outlets are strategically places by the bedside for easy charging of phones and other gadget.

The closet keeps the hotel robes, slippers, laundry bags and the safe. I can’t remember if in other Seda hotels if they provide an iron and board you can use for pressing clothes, but in our room, none is available.

A minibar is available and you get bottled complimentary water for the stay. It has also a coffee and tea making facilities.

Toilet and Bath
The ensuite bathroom is clean and spacious and has complete set of toiletries for two. Towels and hairdryer are also provided. Some rooms have bath tubs, which is Gab’s favorite, but not the Deluxe accommodation. I always appreciate it that they provide anti-slip mats.

Hotel Amenities
The hotel has a play are for infants and toddlers, game room for kids and young at hearts, a fitness center and a pool. They have the hotel restaurant, Misto.

Seda Nuvali Amenities

Play/Game Room: Kids can play blocks and use the indoor play area with slides, a swing and a hoop. The game room provides a venue for those who want to play ps4 and computer games (though very limited game choices are available). They used to have an air hockey game before.

Fitness Center: Good number of equipment available for guests who want to sneak a quick workout while on staycation. Just make sure to request for them to turn on the AC unit when you need to use the gym especially on weekdays.

Club Lounge: This lounge is accessible for guests in Premier Rooms.  They offer extra personalized service, all-day refreshments and cocktails.

The Misto Restaurant: Serves Continental buffet breakfast and can also cater for room service. Seda is one hotel that provides good food with ample choices for their buffet breakfast.

Pool:  This is by far our favorite Seda pool! It has a wading 2-ft deep pool for kids and a longer and bigger 4-ft deep pool who wanted to do their laps.

WiFi is free around the hotel, and the lobby has an E-lounge with Apple Computers–perfect for sending a quick email, checking social media, or playing computer games while waiting at the lobby.

Seda Nuvali is located in Lakeside Evozone, NUVALI Sta. Rosa City, Laguna 4026, Philippines. Our stay here is always a great staycation alternative to Tagaytay.
