Healthy Cooking with Russell Hobbs Air Fryer

We purchased our Russell Hobbs Air Fryer last January 2019. It was not so popular back then. We decided to get an air fryer because we love to eat fried and crunchy foods but we also wanted to reduce the use of oil for home cooked meals.

Here’s what we love with our Russell Hobbs Air Fryer:

  1. Easy to use. It has a 60-minute cooking timer and has an auto off function that signals you once cooking ends. It also comes with a thermostat heating light. It has an variable electronic temperature control and can cook up to 200 degree Celsius.
  2. Generously size basket with food separator. The 2L capacity can handle big batches at once. The basket has a safety lock and release button protection.
  3. Effortless to clean. The basket is non-stick and it has a stainless steel inner body.
  4. Cooks food with a good crisps! We have cooked potato or sweet potato fries, fried dimsum or lumpia, and even chicken or fish (back in 2019 when we are not yet vegetarian).

Having an air fryer, gave us a multi-cooking convenience. We have cooked from appetizers to desserts, with fresh or frozen ingredients. We even use it for grilling, roasting or for reheating (as an alternative for using our microwave or the stop top).

How about our energy consumption? We did not notice a significant increase. Russell Hobbs air fryer don’t consume a lot of electricity. They use energy efficiently and they reduce cooking times.

Russell Hobbs Air Fryer currently retails for about Php 7,000. There are more affordable air fryers in the market now but we chose this brand as they are known as one of the top quality and performing brand of air fryers. It’s an appliance we have invested in as we are planning to use this often and for several years.
