The Golden Duck Salted Egg Crisps: Eat it Your Way!

The Golden Duck is a well known Singaporean premium snack founded in 2015. Been seeing this brand in some locations in the metro and that’s a good thing as you need not go to Singapore to try these.

“Not All Snacks are Created Equal” is what The Golden Duck Salted Egg Crisps promises. There are plenty of ways to enjoy the TGD Snacks – just like what YDG Coffee, one of the nifty cafes in the Metro, cooked up featuring some mouthwatering salted egg potato and fish skin crisps.

Salted Egg Fish Skin Pasta and the Sriracha egg sandwich

I got hold of these irresistible gourmet salted egg yolk potato crisps and fish skin crisps from The Golden Duck last week. The husband was more excited than I was.  We opened the pack and start munching on the crisps! Both the potato and the fish skin crisps are good. But other than munching them for snacks, we tried out a quirky pairing – put them on our salads/ greens!

The potato is perfect for those who are vegetarians while the fish crisps can be on the greens of those who are not. I think the fish crisps will be good in porridge or arroz caldo and omelet too while the potato crisps can be a good alternative as breading for chicken fingers or coating for cheese sticks. I’d like to try them next!

The Golden Duck Salted Egg Crisps (Potato Crisps and Fish Skin Crisps) can be eaten as snacks, part of a meal or both! Eat it your way, as your heart desires.

Also TGD is a Halal-Certified Salted Egg Yolk Potato Chips and Fish Skin.

The bags of TGD Crisps are available in S&R branches nationwide and stores in UP Town Center, The Podium, Newport Mall, Greenhills Promenade, Alabang Town Center, Rockwell Power Plant Mall, Lucky Chinatown Mall, Robinsons Magnolia,  SM Mall of Asia and a pop-up store in Greenbelt 3 for Php 350 per bag!

  1. My brother’s in-laws are based in SG. He gave us these as “pasalubong” from his recent trip. Our entire family was converted after our first bite. We actually like it better that Irvins. 🙂

    • You don’t have to wait for pasalubong now! And yes, even I’m not into so much chips these days but these are good.
