Join Anne Curtis for Heroes for Children Run 2015

I have been in touch with Unicef Philippines because I want them to be the beneficiary of Takbo.ph RunFest 2015 last July.  The project did not push thru, however, it was replaced by a much bigger one. When UNICEF Celebrity Advocate for Children Anne Curtis, wanted the run to be one of her main projects to raise funds for Unicef, everyone was just so happy and excited.

After the series of plannings and meetings, it is finally here! Anne is staging a fun run for the benefit of the different projects of Unicef Philippines related to children. I’m happy that Takbo.ph is part of this very worthy cause.

Sign up with your family, with your kids, with your friends and run with Anne and be heroes for the children. Proceeds of the run will benefit UNICEF Philippines.

UNICEF Celebrity Advocate for Children Anne Curtis

This is one of my favorite photos of Anne, in which she cup-feeds breast milk to a newborn baby in Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center in Tacloban City. Breastfeeding is close to my heart and knowing this will be one of the projects that the run will be giving proceeds to,  I know this is a worthy cause, not just moms, but the whole family should support.

In the Philippines, Anne joins UNICEF National Ambassador Gary Valenciano and UNICEF Special Advocate for Children Daphne Paez in upholding UNICEF’s mandate to protect and promote the rights of children worldwide.
