Working out at home is getting easy. Mr. Google and the world wide web is just within reach. You do not need to get an expensive gym membership to get fit.

Here are some workouts you can do at home or even anywhere as long as you have internet connection. All you have to do is access these sites and follow the video.

Yoga

Yoga has a unique way of strengthening and toning the body, improving flexibility and enhancing the sense of well being. Whether you are new to yoga or have attended several classes, the following sites have tutorials for you to learn the discipline and meditation for health and relaxation.

Barre3 evolves the dancer’s workout by combining the grace of the ballet barre with the wisdom of yoga and the strength of Pilates. The workouts are on a vigorous pace, set to an upbeat soundtrack, moving through a sequence of body postures.

Hoop

Hula-Hoop is a a fun workout. It burns calories, sculpts your body, and blasts off belly fat. Studies showed, according to Hoopnotica site, that 30% of the body’s muscles are working to keep the hoop circling and it’s a great way to strengthen the core.

Dance Exercises

Dancing is a wonderful exercise because, it does not feel like doing a workout. It is great for your heart and can lift your spirits as well, and give your overall feeling a boost.

Dance aerobic instructors and trainers have several uploaded workout series, including Bollywood-style dance aerobic workouts on YouTube.

Nike Training Club

Nike Training Club or NTC is an app made for women who want to get fit. It has individual workouts which you can select from depending on your goal whether to get lean, get toned, or get strong. The workouts usually lasts for 15 to 45 minutes.  It’s free on iTunes and Google Play and you can choose your own tunes to workout to.

I have a love-hate relationship with this app. It makes me feel weak, sweaty but eventually makes me feel good after completing the routines.
