As we are independently homeschooling Gab, we in constant look out for activities that he can join. It’s usually play activities, science experiments or art activities that we want him to join so he can interact with other kids.

He likes drawing, scribbling, coloring and painting. It would be great if he can learn the fundamentals of art while he express his creativity and improving his artistic abilities. I was glad when I saw Art Burst from a friend. I inquired for their classes and here what they are currently offering for Summer of 2015.
April Batch
MWF 8-10am – Basic Level 1
MWF 10am – 12nn – Level 2
Covers drawing, oil pastel, painting, shading and pen & ink (Level 2) for 8 sessions.
TTH 830-1130am – Projects
Covers project making, creative designing, paper mache, poster making and sculpture making for 6 sessions.
Exhibit date will be on May 3, Sunday
May/ June Batch
MWF 10-1130am – Preschool Level 1 and 2
Covers coloring, cutting, drawing, fine motore skill activities, painting, proper use of art tools and writing for 8 sessions.
MWF 130-330pm – Basics Level 1 and 2
MWF 330-530pm – Level 3
Covers drawing, oil pastel, painting, shading, pen & ink (Level 2) and Color Pencil (Level 3) for 8 sessions.
TTH 130-330pm – Acrylic Painting on Canvas
Covers blending techniques, color theory, and painting techniques for 6 sessions.
Exhibit date will be on May 31, Sunday for May batch and June 28, Sunday for the June batch.
June Batch
MWF 10-1030am – Preschool Level 1 and 2

The Head Art Teacher is from the University of the Philippines-Diliman College of Fine Arts major in Art Education. There will be assistant art teachers present to make sure each student is given proper attention and guidance in doing all the activities.
Art class prices range from Php 3,800 to Php 4,500 only.
I hope we can get Gab to be interested to attend in one. I think the 8 sessions is too many for him to complete and we are living far away from Quezon City to catch the 10am class.
