Running burns more calories as compared to most of the exercises. But what if you are not into running yet? No need to worry and no need to push yourself too hard as you can start burning those claories by just simply walking.

Walking is an effective exercise and can easily be incorporated in our daily activities like using the stairs, instead of taking the elevators.

The farther you walk, the more calories you burn. With that being said, the easiest way to burn more calories is simply to walk farther. Just like in running, focus your training on building distance before you build speed. Gradually increase the amount of time you walk each day, with a goal of being able to walk for 30 to 60 minutes at a time. Goal to walk five or six days each week.
