Snuggle Wuggle Wee: A Book for Mommy, Daddy & Baby!

I came across this book at the Breastfeeding Pinay group in facebook when one of the authors, Jenny Ong shared the book trailer.

Snuggle Wuggle Wee Book Review

Snuggle Wuggle Wee is a delightful tale of a young family as told by a little girl named Clara. It is an easy to read book that tells a story about welcoming the new baby to the family. It explains what mommy is doing to the new baby, like breastfeeding and also showing what big role daddy has,  just like mommy.

The book is for little kids expecting new baby sister or brother.  It has simple words for young children but has a deep and profound meaning. I think our 2-year old Gab knows how to “read” some of the words.  No, we are not expecting a new addition to the family yet.  But this will surely be useful when that time comes.  By then, Gab knows how to really read :).

Snuggle Wuggle Wee

My favorite page –  It’s just like Gab and Daddy reading together!

Snuggle Wuggle Wee, the first Pinoy breastfeeding storybook, is a collaboration of LATCH (Lactation, Attachment, Training, Counseling, Help) members Buding Aquino-Dee, Justine Tajonera and Jenny Ong. It was launched  at the Global Pinoy Bazaar at the Rockwell Tent today, November 23. Part of the proceeds will go to funding projects that will help the mothers and babies who survived Super Typhoon Yolanda.
