Trying CrossFit with Women’s Health Pop Up Studio 2014

Women’s Health Pop Up Studio is back! I enjoyed the body jam last year at WH PopUp Studio 2013 that I want to make sure I’ll join even one of the class this year. The Pop Up Studio tour kicked off last August 6 with Pilates-infused yoga class at One Life Studio. I was supposed to come to the High Intensity Interval Training class at HIIT Philippines last August 11 but missed it due to a meeting I had to attend to.

I was so glad that I finally made it at the 3rd session. After all, the venue is near where I live! And this time, I was able to drag along 3 good friends to do the workout with me. All of us will be trying crossfit for the first time. The four of us is on one team. It was an 8-minute intense workout. They made us run a 100-meter dash, do push ups, sqats and ball slam. That was the most tiring 8 minutes of my life! The good news – we survived, but yes, the day after we feel sore all over!

Thank you dear friends for coming and joining the workout. We made a great team! Thanks Alwee 🙂

More photos coming soon…

Will I do it again? Well, I will not say no but may be gradually, little by little, and not as competitive as we did last night.

If you are interested to try crossfit, you can come visit CrossFit Mad Minute. They offer free trials. For beginners, they will help design a program for you to help you reach your fitness goals. You can contact CrossFit Mad Minute at 09273220816/ 02 5514281 or visit http://crossfitmadminute.com/.

For the WH Pop Up Studio, there are still upcoming events you can still join. I’m recommending the Hot Hula Fitness. This is one of my favorite dance workout. This is a Polynesian dance to drum beats mixed with raggae and hip-hop.

Hot Hula Fitness – August 19, 2014 at Steps Dance Studio, Makati
Functional Fitnes – August 28, 2014 at Functional Fitness, Mandaluyong
