Healthy Skin with Cetaphil

Cetaphil, the most prescribed skincare brand by dermatologists for over 70 years, launches National Healthy Skin Mission — a campaign that leads the education drive to having completely healthy skin.

I was excited when I got an invite to come and learn more about how to take care and know what’s best for your skin and your little ones from diverse pool of medical experts.

As the skin is the largest organ of the body and the first defense against pollutants and allergens – the skin should be cleaned, moisturized and be protected.

Cetaphil Baby Products. Babies need a healthy start and when it comes to their skin, moisture and nourishment is key.

Aside from having a good hygiene and balanced diet, it is also important to use the right products. The skin-care products should be suitable to the individual’s skin type.

It is also important that you schedule a proper consultation your dermatologist in times when you have skin breakouts instead of self-medicating.  What products that worked for others might not work for you.

Our Cetaphil at home. I’m excited to try on the sunblock.
Gab will try the the tear-free shampoo, body wash and lotion too!

We always have our Cetaphil stash at home. Though no one has cases of acne, ectopic dermatitis or eczema, that we know of, we bring and use Cetaphil whenever we travel or after a swim. We notice that our skin sometimes get itchy and dry because of the water and it’s always a relief to clean and moisturize with it. And yes, we have consulted our doctors and they gave us the go signal to use them, even Gab’s pediatrician.

“National Healthy Skin Mission is an effort initiated by Cetaphil in partnership with Watsons. As Cetaphil’s brand purpose is to improve lives of Filipino’s through healthy skin. It is consistent with Galderma’s commitment to promoting healthy skin as part of a healthy lifestyle. To be completely healthy, you also need healthy skin,” said Cetaphil Brand Manager, Francesca Sy

“We are very happy to be partnering with Galderma and Cetaphil for National Healthy Skin Mission. At Watsons, we believe that you can look good, feel great by being healthy inside and out,” said Watson’s Category Manager, Aimee Pernia

As part of the National Healthy Skin Mission, Cetaphil imparts that there are different skin types. A complicated skin care routine is not the key to healthy skin. What is important is to come up with a skin care routine that is geared toward your skin type and skin issues.

The Cetaphil routine is simple but effective and includes three steps: Cleanse, moisturize and protect.
