Home in Panglao Island: Be Grand Resort Bohol

Be Grand Resort is one of the many resorts you can stay when you are in Panglao Island. This was our home for several days in the island and we loved it.

Counting blessings on a Monday – being able to travel to explore places with the family to make memories.

The Resort and Check-In

Combining contemporary design with laid-back waterfront chic, the resort is an ideal home away from home. It’s situated on the exclusive part of Panglao Island. They have 189 guests rooms in the resort and 19 residential style villas.

We checked in around 4pm. This was out last stop in our Panglao Island Tour . After verifying our booking reservations, which took some time, we were ushered to our room. They provided welcome drink vouchers (that can be claimed at any time or day of your stay).

Room

We booked a deluxe room with the view of the sea. It has 2 queen beds with plush pillows for a comfortable sleep. We just love big beds! It has an executive desk for a workstation with charging docks for different gadgets. The room has a terrace with the view of the Panglao beach. The ensuite bathroom has a separate shower and Gab’s favorite – a bath tub. Custom toiletries were provided, including a bubble bath tube to enjoy the tub.

It was good to know that the resort has priorities in reducing water consumption and one of their efforts is waste water treatment. Resort’s waste water goes to an in-house treatment plant and then for gardening and flushing system on each water closet.

Resort Amenities Restaurants

The resort has 3 restaurants – The Food Hall, The Bridge and The Monkey Bar. The Food Hall is where the buffet breakfast is served. It has a view of the gardens , pool and the sea. It has an option to dine in an air-conditioned section or alfresco or with your feet immersed in cool waters. The Bridge is open for lunch and the rest of the day. It has a swim up bar and offers a refreshing view of the resort pools. The Monkey Bay is at the far end of the resort, near the beach side. It offers al fresco dining beneath the pergola or underneath the shade of magroves. They offer great tasting food, good choices at reasonable prices.

BE Grand Resort Bohol Facilities

The view! So good to look at!

Swimming Pools –  The resort has 3 pools – a diver’s training pool, a kiddie wading pool, and the biggest one is the main resort pool. Gab had fun both in the kiddie and big pools! Beach Side Though the resort do not have their own beach front, they have provided lounge chairs so you can still be close to the sea. We spent most of the time here and at low tide, we looked for urchins, starfish and crabs.

Play Area By the beach side is a small open playground – with a playhouse, a slide and a swing – where kids can enjoy and have fun with the sand.

Game Room – The resort has a game room where you can play air hockey, foosball, billiards, table tennis, some board and computer games when you are want to be indoors. It is open from 8am – 10pm.

Fitness Center – There’s an available fitness center for those who want to sneak in a quick workout even on a holiday. No need to go out as the gym has good equipment to burn those extra calories while on a holiday.

Private Dock – The resort has its own docking area to make it easier for guests to go on an island hopping tour from the resort. Part of the docking area is also used by hotel guests for a quick dip into the sea and for the complimentary kayaking and stand up paddleboarding.

They also have spa services at the lobby level that operates from 1pm to 10pm.

Be Grand Resort in Bohol

Would I recommend it to family and friends? definitely. Make sure to check and book directly from their website, BE Grand Resort Bohol, like we did to get the best price and offerings.

Be Grand is a few minutes away from the famous Alona Beach. They provide free scheduled shuttle services to and from the hotel. This is a good resort if you want an exclusive resort but still want to be near the crowd and the different restaurants in Alona.
