I get the chance to visit  St Michael’s PlayHouse and I instantly love the place and the people running the place.  It is the first Waldorf-inspired Playhouse in the country.  It is a day care  center that is safe and nurturing for your young child. It provides a sweet space for children to be raised consciously, in a healthy and peaceful setting. It is indeed a home away from home! If ever I would put my son into a day care center, this would be my first choice and I would gladly recommend this to friends. I’m even considering to check out vacancies so I can be a pre-school teacher here.

This summer, St Michael’s PlayHouse are offering special classes and activities for kids! Good activities for home schooled kids to get to know more children while doing arts and crafts, baking, cooking, painting and wood work and carpentry!

Nimble Fingers, Nimble Minds program to gently stimulate child’s creativity, from as young as 2.5 years old to until 7 years. This is from Tue-Fri, for two weeks in the month of May. There will be Arts & Crafts, Baking & Cooking, Painting, and Woodwork too! The children will be happy with each day’s surprise. There is an option to attend one week or both at a discounted rate.

Of Stories and Sticks: Two New Workshops from Tita Malou! For the first time at St Michael’s PlayHouse, they will have Living Stories: A Puppet-making Workshop for Parents and Kids at the end of April, and Five Six Pick Up Sticks: Knitting for Girls and Boys in May.
